Simulation method: Discrete Event Gridded System Dynamics PopulationThis model shows the small area population dynamics of an sea animal with immature and mature life stages. The area of interest is divided into a 2D grid of patches. The mature population count of each patch is influenced by local maturation and deaths, as well as migration to and from neighboring patches. Each patch is represented as an agent whose dynamics are characterized using System Dynamics. The patches are placed within a grid, and interact locally with neighbors in the 4 cardinal directions (discrete soace with Euclidean neighborhood model). Related Models |
