Supply Chain in Upper Austria using GIS

This simulation model mimics a supply chain with four retailers, one wholesaler and one manufacturer all located in Upper and Lower Austria. For the transportation we use the GIS model application of AnyLogic.
We model three products which are all controlled with a kanban system.
The target is to set the number of kanbans and the kanban size for all materials and supply chain member to minimize the inventory, ordering, and tardiness costs.
In this model the processing and set up time of the manufacturer and the arrival rate of customer orders are stochastic.
